Ajnabi Mithaai, The Authentic Taste Of Gujarat. The founder of this firm was Jayantilal Narayanji. Started in 1961, by selling pakodas and bhajyas on a 10x10 sq. feet shop in sowcarpet, Chennai, IN. As the shop attracted youths and school children it picked up a reputation for snacks. Slowly after the shop got renounced, the owner started gujarati food items in Chennai, like jalebi and fafda, it’s a breakfast dish serving plenty homes on a Sunday morning today. As they were only baby steps to make its goodwill, the firm started out with its first branch in Egmore, Chennai IN. Introducing a variety chaats and sweets made up of pure milk and ghee. As a path to success the owner had passed on the business to their heir.
